Merge/Purge is one of the most versatile services you'll find for address list management. At its most basic,
Merge/Purge is the science of isolating duplicate records from multiple lists, removing the ones you don't want
and selecting the ones you do.
Our standard merge/purge service will flag duplicate records based upon the client's instructions. We can flag
duplicates based upon any of the fields in your database. A typical merge/purge match would be on name and
address, but we could match on zip code, account number, etc.
For merging more than two files or to discuss custom filters for use in de-duping and suppression, please
contact our customer service. We can do a custom merge/purge on a project by project basis. The basic rates
to flag duplicates would apply and there would be an additional fee for custom data work based on the estimated
time to complete.
Addresses will be returned in all upper case, the preferred USPS™ format. If you are interested in mixed
case (also known as Upper/Lower case) in your return file, you must specify Upper/Lower Case conversion with
your order.
